Moira Fett’s work in both documentary and scripted filmmaking seeks to uncover the contours of human behavior under environmental pressures. Her narrative short Practice received the Best Director award at the DTLA Film Festival and the Audience Award at NFFTY in 2019, and was featured at festivals nationwide, including the Maryland Film Festival and the Florida Film Festival in 2020.

In 2018, Moira was honored with the Sally Burns Shenkman Woman Filmmaker Fellowship at the Jacob Burns Film Center, where she directed the narrative short Two Birds, showcased at the Middlebury Film Festival in 2019. Additionally, her debut music video for indie musician Jeremy Stern's BHC screened at festivals like NFFTY, Chicago Blow Up Film Festival, and the Festival of the Moving Image in 2020.

Currently, Moira is working on her first documentary feature film, Upstream, alongside co-director Natalie Berger. This film is projected to release in 2025.
